When Wall Street Meets Main Street – Managing a National Crisis’ Local Impact Sept. 13th

Crises aren’t always the direct result of actions of your company or division. Sometimes you get caught up in others’ crises, and have to manage responses to situations beyond your ability to influence. The ongoing recession and crisis involving the financial services industry has had a ripple effect that impacted local banks’ relationship with their customers.

Tom Kelly, head of regional media relations for Chase, the consumer and commercial banking businesses of JPMorgan Chase & Co., will provide insights into how Main Street managed the impact of the Wall Street crisis on Chase Banks’ community relations efforts.

Prior to the 2004 merger of JPMorgan Chase and Bank One Corporation, Kelly led corporate media relations at Bank One, then nation’s sixth-largest bank holding company.
